Clinically Trained PA with a Master’s in Art Therapy, Offering Integrative Mental Health Support

Taking care of your mental health is as important as your physical health. Seeing a therapist provides a safe space to process emotions, gain clarity, and build coping skills. Art therapy uses creative expression to explore feelings and foster healing, and expressive therapy activities can also improve focus and attention by engaging the brain in structured, sensory‑rich tasks. I have created a series of art therapy cards for my patients which specifically address ADHD, depression, anxiety, and cognitive decline.

Bless My Broccoli: A Whole Faith, Plant-Based Prayer Book for Those Who Want to Eat Like An Angel

More than a picture book

In 2024, during a difficult personal and professional transition, I leaned deeply on my faith and my background in art therapy for grounding and strength. During that time, I made a conscious decision to channel my energy into creating something meaningful, and I committed to completing a book centered on gratitude, nourishment, and care for the body.

Through the creative process, I discovered that focusing on simple, joyful images and natural foods was deeply healing. Rather than becoming discouraged, the experience gave me a renewed sense of purpose and reinforced the idea that growth often comes from stepping into something new and unfamiliar.

Out of that season, my first book, Bless My Broccoli: A Whole Faith, Plant-Based Prayer Book, was created. What began as a personal project has since been published and is now available through major retailers and librarie,. including the Library of Congress, making it accessible to others at no cost.

This experience continues to shape my work, reminding me that creativity, structure, and small, consistent efforts can support meaningful change. Food, like health, is not meant to be feared or restricted, but appreciated with gratitude and intention.
